Missions IMPACT! – Miracles of Mercy Ministries

Alyce and Mackey Faulkner of North Little Rock, Arkansas, have launched a new ministry out of their home. It’s called, Miracles of Mercy, and their mission is to provide a home for single mothers who have recently been release from prison. Obviously, such a mission requires a true call from God … it is not for the faint of heart.

We’ll let Alyce tell about the ministry in her own words:

I have mentored women for about 6 years, specifically women who come out of prison. In January of this year my husband and I formed a non-profit called Miracle of Mercy, a faith-based help for single women with children. We are blessed to have two local SBC pastors on our board, 3 former missionaries and other men and women have joined us to help.

We recently found 18 1/2 acres in north Pulaski County and hope to build an 8 bedroom house. For years these women and children have come to live with us, and what God led us to do was to establish a family with those who had no family … or didn’t know what family was.

If you go to our web site you can read the testimony of Penny Green. She still lives with us, and she is graduating from cosmetology school next month. She is planted in our church and now goes to other churches with me to speak on behalf of the mercies of God. We have 4 builders on our board and have enough builders to actually build the facility. This is not half-way house. They don’t work for us. This is family.

We are waiting on God to provide the money for the land We need $130,000. Until then, we have an additional 6 people in our home of 1956 square feet. We are waiting on God, but expectantly.
