Dr. R. Albert Mohler, President of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, quoted through the Religion News Service at ethicsdaily.com, defending the seminary’s refusal to grant a full name change on the diploma of Ronnie “Elise” Elrod. He/she is a former Southern Baptist pastor, known previously as Ronnie Eugene Elrod, and a 1998 graduate of Southern who underwent surgical alteration to become a woman.

i guess dr. mohler is still narrowing those parameters…aint he?
or, maybe there’s a groups of sbc’ers out there who think that we ought to pat poor ronnie/elise on the back, and let him teach preaching, or nt theology at one of our sb seminaries.
